Microsoft UC Training

Microsoft UC Training

At SKT, we commonly get questions from partners about providing training material and guidance to existing and new users of Office Communication Server. Although the interface uses the same layout and GUI that you find in all Microsoft Office applications, new capabilities for calling, instant messaging, conferencing and desktop sharing have not been available from a single interface until now.

End user tutorials

Microsoft has released a good tutorial that walks users through the basic aspects of the Microsoft Office Communicator desktop application. One of the challenges with OCS is the wide range of usage scenarios that are available. Going over these tutorials will provide a refresher for exisiting OCS users, a introduction to the features for new users and a overview of the capabilities for companies considering its value to their workforce.

Module 1: Intro to UC and Enterprise Voice
Module 2: Communicator Instant Messaging and Presence
Module 3: Enterprise Voice-Soft phone experience
Module 4: Desk Phone Experience
Module 5: Communicator - Audio and Video
Module 6: Microsoft Office Live Meeting & Microsoft® RoundTableTM
